Rest for a weary world
The lie of the long battle is that there is no hope and God has forgotten me. I believe Jesus himself had times of feeling weary, which is why he needed to withdraw after ministry to the crowds.

Holy Spirit Blinders
I believe the Lord is putting Holy Spirit blinders on those who will accept them . Blinders on horse help them keep focused on what’s in front.

Filling My ‘Think’ Tank
There is more and more scientific proof of the incredible power that our minds have to affect our lives and yet so often we neglect taking control of how we think. As believers we don’t just empty our minds of negative thinking but we choose to fill our minds with the Truth of Gods Word.

The God Who Bids Us Come
God comes near sometimes to see if we reciprocate His desire for us. He shows Himself enough for us to know He is with us in the hope that we will engage with Him even more.

You Have a Purpose!
Do you know that you were chosen for a specific reason and purpose? If you have ever doubted that your life has purpose, it’s time to destroy that lie once and for all. Most of us at some stage revisit the question,“What is my purpose?”

There’s a Roar in the Heavens Over You
Recently I was praying and waiting on the Lord for our nation. This is what I believe I heard from Him.

Let Justice Reign
Some time back I began to think about what God is doing in the earth. The question sprung up from the idea about how Jesus said and did things.

Church Is Open!
In these months where we have not gathered in our buildings & greatly missed corporate worship, we have also seen the church be the church in the most beautiful ways.

He Knows Your Needs
There is no need, no matter how big or small, no heart's desire, that our Heavenly Father doesn’t see or care about. He knows what we need before we even ask and has abundant resources to provide for us. One thing I’ve learned about our God is that He is much more practical than we think.

Vapor Trails of God's Wisdom
God links seemingly unrelated events as cause and effect relationships that we don’t easily track on earth. Things we may believe He has forgotten, secret things we did where no eyes but His were watching, He often rewards in unrelated ways.

An Easter To Remember
From a young age, Easter has always been my favorite celebration on the Christian calendar. I have fond memories of my grandmother sewing matching dresses for my sister and me, going to church as a family, and of course hunting Easter eggs and eating too much chocolate.

Some Thoughts For Those Leading Through Covid 19
I don’t think any of us could have predicted what it would look like to navigate our people through this time. We are certainly sailing through unchartered waters! Whether we are leading a business, a ministry, a school or our families, people are looking to us to make decisions we might not have had to make before. Along with the decisions we are called on to make, our people are also eager for words of encouragement and hope.

We Hold The Keys
If you’re a parent of a teenager you know what it feels like to hand the car keys to your beloved child for their first solo drive after getting their drivers license. It is certainly good for your prayer life! At this moment, we are trusting them use these keys responsibly. My children have keys to my house, which means they have access to all that is mine.

Above All Get Wisdom!
From online courses to conferences about the value of Heaven's Wisdom, it seems that Wisdom is a theme from the Holy Spirit for this decade.
Why is it so important?

THANKSGIVING
Growing up in South Africa, Thanksgiving was not a holiday we celebrated. In the world we live in, where families are often separated by a border and even an ocean, I marvel each year at the intentionality to come together, share a traditional and delicious meal and give thanks around the table. I wish every nation had a similar tradition woven into their culture.

You Did It!
I love the joy and squeals of "I did it" (add high pitch) that come from our three year old granddaughter as she completes a puzzle or the building of something she has been practicing.

Say Thank You!
There are days when it’s easy to say thank you to the Lord as I’m reminded of all His goodness towards me. There are also days when I forget because I’m focused on what hasn’t happened or how I’m feeling or what I don’t like. The latter never serves me well because He is always worthy of a thankful heart.

Qualified!
For many years, I was silently convinced that I didn't quite measure up. I thought others should be leading because I didn't really qualify. I thought I had to have all the answers otherwise I wasn't a good leader.
