Holy Spirit Blinders
As followers of Jesus we carry heaven’s authority. One of the beautiful purposes of this God entrusted authority is to build one another up not to tear one another down. The apostle Paul says the following:
“So even if I boast somewhat freely about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of it.”
2 Corinthians 10:8 NIV
I preface this word with the above as my heart is to encourage us and remind us how our heavenly Father sees us His Bride, His Church and how He has us in training in this season to keep our eyes fixed on Him.
In this season of turmoil and disruption, I have not been passive. I’m never passive. The nations remain My passion and I continue to hold My people in the palm of My hand. There’s a war in the heavenlies for the next season that I’m ushering in and preparing My Bride for. There are waves of salvations and this will not be held back. My Church is in training to stay focused on Me, to keep her eyes on Me and not be distracted by the raging and ever changing storms. I believe the Lord is putting Holy Spirit blinders on those who will accept them . Blinders on horses help them keep focused on what is in front.
Blinders keep a horse for being distracted, especially on a busy road. They are often put on thoroughbreds to stop them being overwhelmed or distracted by their surroundings. The primary reason is to keep the horse focused on the path ahead and limit his peripheral or rear vision. Horses without blinders on are more likely to be easily distracted which is dangerous in a fast or difficult race.
Right now the world is in a difficult race with many ever changing distractions but the Lord in His faithfulness is putting blinders on His Bride if she will accept them. This is not a time to be distracted at all that is happening. It is not a time to focus on all the aspects of the storm…thought we are very aware of it. The enemy is working over time to keep the eyes of My Bride off of Me, her Bridegroom. I believe there’s a call to the Church to focus ahead, to declare what’s ahead and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.
This is not a neglect of praying for what’s current but it cannot be our primary focus.
We are not called to discuss the storm but to rebuke it. As sons and daughters of the Most High, we are the only ones who carry the peace of Heaven, who have weapons that are powerful to pull down spiritual strongholds in this battle for the nations. There’s a call from the Lord to engage in the battle with our eyes on Him, not distracted by all the noise.
My Church, my people have my heart. I see you with your battle scars, I see you crying out to Me on behalf of your nation, on behalf of nations. I see your tears but I also see the warrior in you. Because I live in you, I know the authority you carry to declare justice & righteousness and peace. I know the weapons at your disposal, your ability to hear my voice. I’ve put that in you. I say to you today My Bride, you are beautiful and you are strong and you have authority over the storm. You are not weak, you are not dead but you My Beautiful Bride are alive and well and in training to keep your eyes fixed on Me like never before. Keep your eyes fixed on me the Author & Perfector of your faith.
